Our assisted living apartments at Bayley Place offer residents the independence they desire with the reassurance that assistance is nearby. Assisted living provides an alternative for mature adults who do not need nursing care but would appreciate a helping hand-whether occasionally or on a daily basis. Each apartment offers the warmth and privacy of home with its own kitchenette, closet space, living area and emergency response system. Residents enjoy the safety, friendship and professional staff Bayley Place has to offer.
Services in Assisted Living can vary from a friendly reminder to take daily medication to assistance with bathing, dressing, or personal care. Our six levels of services allow us to create a package personalized for each resident to pay only for the services they need and want.
Assisted Living residents enjoy three meals a day in our dining room. A variety of planned activities are scheduled each day to meet the interests of all residents. The Pastoral Care staff plans a variety of spiritual activities such as Catholic Mass, Holy Hour, Protestant Services and many others. Residents relax without having to worry about keeping up with house keeping because our staff makes weekly housekeeping visits. Outside patios and planting space offer a place to relax and enjoy the outdoors. Our on-site beauty salon is a gathering place for pampering and relaxation.

Bayley Place Intermediate and Skilled Nursing Care offers residents the care they need as well as the privacy they desire. The nursing care area is Medicare and Medicaid certified with the majority of our rooms being private rooms for single person occupancy. A variety of specialists, such as a podiatrist, dentist and audiologist, visit Bayley Place on a regular basis. Residents can benefit from our on-site vision center as well as physical, occupational, speech and aquatic therapies. Professional counseling services are available as well as therapeutic whirlpool baths and an extensive rehabilitation program.
Our
Social Service Department is available to coordinate services, answer
any questions and provide resources to the resident and
family member.
Our Pastoral Care staff is available to minister to the spiritual and emotional concerns of residents and their families, regardless of religious preference.
The
Activities Department offers many options such as trivia, horseshoes,
crafts, bingo, entertainment, internet searches, computer classes,
exercise programs, swimming, field trips to local restaurants and
attractions
sure to meet the changing interests of each resident. Our outdoor
gardens and walking trails
allow residents the chance to enjoy the beautiful scenery and relax
in the sunshine. One particular garden equipped with a play set
has become
a popular place for families to gather with grandchildren. Residents
enjoy the socialization of eating their meals together in the dining
room, however
room service is available. A registered dietician monitors residents
with special diet requirements.
Our many parlors, community rooms and common space offer family members
a place to celebrate a birthday, anniversary or visit with residents.

The Terrace, Meadows and Woodlands
Specialized Alzheimer’s and Dementia Assisted Living Apartments
The Terrace, Meadows and Woodlands are safe and comfortable assisted living opportunities designed to offer specialized care and compassion to those with Alzheimer’s, dementia or other memory-related conditions.
The Terrace, Meadows and Woodlands are three separate and secure assisted
living communities that provide the resident with assistance from our
specially trained staff. Services can vary from bathing, dressing, personal
care,
and managing daily medications. Each apartment is equipped with a 24-hour
emergency response system. Residents furnish the apartments with trinkets
and treasures from home such as photos and mementos that mean so much.
The
Activities Department plans a variety of social, recreational and educational
activities for each day, sure to meet the changing interests
of each resident.
Special Life Skills activities, personalized for each resident, encourage
reminiscence about times past. Our Pastoral Care Department nourishes
the spiritual interests of each resident with Catholic Mass, Holy Hour,
Protestant
services and many other spiritual activities.

Nursing Care Specializing in Alzheimer’s and Dementia Care
The Orchards is a quaint neighborhood-like setting that offers nursing care for residents with Alzheimer’s Disease and dementia. The majority of rooms are
private for single person occupancy and all are Medicare/Medicaid
certified. The secured community includes a dining room, an activity
room and a
beautiful secured outdoor environment with space for gardening
and secure walking
path. Residents enjoy three meals a day in the dining room. We
encourage each resident to decorate their room with items from home such
as photos
and trinkets collected over the years.
Our specially trained professional staff sees to it that each resident receives the highest quality of care on a daily basis emphasizing optimal wellness. A variety of activities such as bingo, cards, crafts, baking, exercises and outdoor games are planned for each day. Cottage
Community
The
Village at Bayley Place is a community that provides the independence
and comfort of one’s own private cottage with the
reassurance that assistance is nearby.
Residents
of The Village can choose a two or three-bedroom cottage, both with two
full baths, an equipped
kitchen, ample closet and storage
space,
utility room, front and rear patio, the choice of a one- or two-car
attached garage, and large windows to bring the outdoors in. Each
cottage is equipped with individually controlled thermostats, 24-hour
security, and an emergency
response system. The cottages are large and inviting. They range
in size from 1,400 to 1,600 square feet.

Payment Options
The
fees for a cottage consist of a "life lease fee" with
an ongoing monthly fee. Seventy-five percent of the "life lease
fee" is
refundable at the time the resident(s) move out of the cottage.
The monthly fee varies depending on the size of the cottage. The amenities and services covered by the monthly fee consist of interior and exterior maintenance, lawn and landscape service, snow and trash removal, water and sewage, administrative support, use of the Bayley Place Community Wellness Center, building insurance, around-the-clock security, emergency response system, and real estate taxes.
