Bayley Place Intermediate and Skilled Nursing Care offers residents the care they need as well as the privacy they desire. The nursing care area is Medicare and Medicaid certified with the majority of our rooms being private rooms for single person occupancy. A variety of specialists, such as a podiatrist, dentist and audiologist, visit Bayley Place on a regular basis. Residents can benefit from our on-site vision center as well as physical, occupational, speech and aquatic therapies. Professional counseling services are available as well as therapeutic whirlpool baths and an extensive rehabilitation program.
Our Social Service Department is available to coordinate services, answer any questions and provide resources to the resident and family member. Our Pastoral Care staff is available to minister to the spiritual and emotional concerns of residents and their families, regardless of religious preference.
The Activities Department offers many options such as trivia, horseshoes, crafts, bingo, entertainment, internet searches, computer classes, exercise programs, swimming, field trips to local restaurants and attractions sure to meet the changing interests of each resident. Our outdoor gardens and walking trails allow residents the chance to enjoy the beautiful scenery and relax in the sunshine. One particular garden equipped with a play set has become a popular place for families to gather with grandchildren. Residents enjoy the socialization of eating their meals together in the dining room, however room service is available. A registered dietician monitors residents with special diet requirements.
Our many parlors, community rooms and common space offer family members a place to celebrate a birthday, anniversary or visit with residents.
